My experience with Lakeside Surfaces was spectacular. I met with Jamie at the 29th Street showroom and she continued to check in with me about my project. As soon as my base cabinets were installed, she scheduled my initial measure appointment with Jon Polen and he also did a fantastic job and was such a pleasure to work with! He and Ashley Tuttle helped schedule a template appointment with Mark who was fantastic to work with and helped me make the right decisions about styling of edges and overhang.
My Project Coordinator (Jordon Fairchild) helped ensure payment was made quickly so the countertops could be ordered. They were ready and installed in just 8 business days - fantastic!

We had our old countertops removed and replaced with new quartz countertops by Lakeside Surfaces Incorporated in the Grand Rapids/Muskegon area, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
The installation team—Zach, Shawn, and Nate—did a fabulous job from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. The removal of the old countertops and installation of the new ones went smoothly, and the seams look even better than they did four years ago.

The installers from Lakeside surfaces just left. They did an Amazing job. The install is beautiful and they were very careful with the hardwood floors considering the amount of snow they had to come through to bring in the countertops. Under mount sink looks great and they even left a bottle of cleaner They did a great job explaining how to take care of everything and when we could start using them. Lakeside team was top-notch - friendly, skilled, and conscientious. The entire experience with the whole team from layout through install was a breeze, and the results are tops. Kitchen is still in process, building out face-frames, drawers and doors but this is a great milestone.

From the very beginning, Jon made this process so easy. We knew what was going to happen every step along the way. Communication through emails and texting was amazing. I wish I could remember the names of the two gentlemen who put in our kitchen counter. They were respectful, polite they worked hard and they knew their job very well. They had to work around an existing tile back splash when they removed the old countertop and did not chip a tile. I would absolutely recommend there services to friends.

We bought quartz countertops and backsplash through them and our experience with them was great! Jon Polen is their Residential Representative and he was the best to work with on our project. He is most knowledgeable and takes great care to listen to the homeowner and answer any questions you might have. He offers great suggestions and keeps his project team well informed about what the homeowner had decided. Jon also informs the install team about anything they should watch out for during the installation of our countertop.

Nice place that had been recommended to us for our upcoming kitchen remodel. Good selection as far as options in courts, which is all we were interested in and we found a few that we noted as future possibilities. Tiffany met us at the door and seemed knowledgeable and quite prepared to help though we did not end up with many questions. All told, a pleasant experience and would not be reluctant to go back another time.

We just had our quartz bathroom countertop installed by CJ and Zak this morning. They were extremely courteous, prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job. Our bathroom looks terrific, and the quartz is gorgeous; especially with our stainless steel sinks. Kudos to Jamie in the Grand Rapids showroom for being so friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely use Lakeside again when we redo our upstairs bathroom.

From start to finish my experience was great! Lakeside did exactly what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Specifications were checked and double checked to be sure we were all on the same page. Field man, Jon Polen helped design the backsplash in the field and helped me make decisions about the details. The installers arrived on time, were respectful of us and our house, and cleaned up before they left. It was clear to me that they'd been well trained in their craft as well as their behavior. I was impressed and plan to recommend Lakeside to friends in the future!

I had a good experience with Lakeside Surfaces. The company is professional and communication is excellent. The staff who templated and installed my bathroom vanity top were helpful, answered questions and prompt for the appointments. The timelines promised were adhered to. Be aware, that the small sample that a customer views and selects does not reveal the entire piece to be installed. I was disappointed about the lack of mixing of the composite resulted in a color concentration that in my opinion is not visually pleasing. I would recommend Lakeside Surfaces, and would encourage a customer to view the entire piece for satisfaction.

Jon Polen went the distance for me; all the way to the U.P. He and his team worked with me to coordinate templating, fabrication, and installation of my beautiful, quality, ideal countertops. I've been DIY'ing my kitchen (still a WIP), but countertops needed to be professionally installed. When I couldn't make it to the showroom, Jon made sure samples were hand delivered to me. The personal customer service beats any "box" store. Plus, the quality is beyond better and did not cost more. They also went "over the bridge", which other vendors would not do. Jon is knowledgable about his products, listens to his customer's needs, is realistic about the process, and he follows up after the install! I will be using Lakeside Surfaces again!

Work they did was very good, quality worthy of 5-stars….except they broke two pieces of granites and glued them back together and installed. Never told me or my contractor. Whatever they used to glue has become more visible and stained. Given we have a large kitchen and purchased a lot of granite…I am disappointed the breakage was never disclosed…feels deceitful

We had a wonderful experience with Lakeside Surfaces recently while purchasing our quartz countertops. Lakeside did a perfect job measuring, installing and finishing our kitchen quartz countertops. Rodney & Terrell were very professional and capable installers. They were also very friendly with us and our dogs. They were having a good time working together (maybe because of the epoxy smell, lol).

Shawn and Tim are a great installation team. They are professional, pleasant, and highly skilled. They demo’d without causing any damage, the new countertops are beautiful, and the seams are flawless. They did not rush the work - I could tell they have pride in what they do. They were great! Update: Shawn and Tim returned to install full height backsplash with Andy and did another great job - consistent with my earlier experience.
