Countertop Slab Sale FAQs
Can you see the slab in person?
Slabs are stored in an offsite location and not available for in person viewing. Slabs may be viewed online and samples of many of the products are available at our Countertop Inspiration Gallery in Kentwood. Color, tone, or texture may vary from product description, photo, sample, and actual slab.
If viewing material in person is essential to your overall project design, we recommend choosing material from the Lakeside Collection of in palette colors which are available for viewing in our showrooms.
What if the slab is damaged?
Damage to the slab may occur during storage, transportation or fabrication. If this occurs, we will replace your slab with another slab of your choice from the slab sale inventory. Damaged or broken slabs will not be replaced with stock material.
How do I place a hold on a slab?
To hold your selected slab, we require 50% downpayment along with your signed estimate. After your payment is received, a customer service representative will contact you to schedule your laser measurement with one of our measurement technicians. The remaining 50% is due with your signed order confirmation. to hold the slab/remnant and remainder 50% due with signed SOC.

At Lakeside Surfaces, we do our best to keep our online slab sale inventory up to date. However, due to the high demand and competitive pricing of this program, our online inventory changes frequently and is not updated in real-time.
Pricing:
Slabs are sold by the square foot with a 30ft minimum to qualify for free template and installation. $68 sq ft for standard slabs/remnants, $88 sq ft for premium materials.
Installation includes choice of standard edge profile and standard sink cutout. Specialty fabrication such as mitered edges, premium edge profiles, square sink corners or stacked lamination may incur additional fees. Tear-out, steel supports are an additional cost.

To secure a specific slab for your project, please contact your sales representative. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of a piece until we have a signed estimate with 50% downpayment and confirm that it is still in unsold inventory.
How do I make a payment?
Payment in full is required to schedule the fabrication of your project. We offer four approved payment options. Please choose the option that works best for you:
Email a check to our Finance Team c/o Laurie Brown, lbrown@lakesideinc.com. For your convenience, she is copied in the email as well. NOTE: If a clear image or pdf file of the completed check is emailed, we can deposit from that copy, with your permission. Please note in the body of the email message “use this check copy for deposit”. This is the BEST & FASTEST way to move forward at this time.
