- Beautiful and unique natural patterns
- Heat and scratch resistant. Can withstand high temps, great for outdoor applications
CONS:
- Porous, needs to be sealed a few times a year, depending on use, to be stain resistant
- Can contain natural characteristics, such as texture and fissures that may not appeal to everyone
PROS:
- Available in a wide variety of colors and patterns
- Gloss colors require no sealing, simple soap and water clean up.
- Non-porous, stubborn spots do not seep past the surface and can be removed
- Heat, scratch and stain resistant
CONS:
- Not UV resistant, so not suitable for outdoor applications

- Available in many different patterns from solid colors, to natural stone and metal looks
- Scratch and stain resistant.
- Extremely heat and UV resistant, perfect for outdoor use.
- Non-porous, ideal for shower walls and tub surrounds
CONS:
- Only available in 2cm, which gives it a sleek, modern look that may not be a great fit for everyone.
- Pattern does not go all the way through the slab, so edge will appear as a solid color
